Burst & High Capacity Pressure Test – HCP

The SCITEQ SIGMA high capacity burst (HCP) & high pressure test (HP) systems delivers the most linear burst pressure curve on the market, guaranteeing that you get accurate and valid data. The system combines the need for both pressure testing and burst testing large PE pipe samples. All solution is part of the SIGMA pressure test system and it is configured and build according to customer needs.

Description

With the SIGMA High Capacity burst (HCP) & high pressure(HP) test system, you can easily perform high volume static pressure tests and burst tests of PE plastic pipes,  and fittings of any dimension. The solution is highly customizable and can deliver pressure of up to 500 bars and volumes ranging from 17 liters per minute 100 liters per minute depending on pressure rate. The solution is configured and build according to test specifications and pipe diameters.

The use of high-quality materials and innovative design of the Burst High Capacity Pressure & HP means that the requested volumes and pressure are effortlessly delivered to the pipe sample. The unique combination of the pump and the accumulators allows for low installation cost and energy consumption. The internal water reservoir circulates the water, ensuring that there is adequate water supply when testing even large samples.

Standards and applications

The SIGMA HP & HCP is a part of the SIGMA pressure test range. It is controlled by SIGMA software allowing easy operation from the SIGMA web-based interface, allowing you to initiate and monitor tests remotely. Complying with multiple standards within pipe testing and for many different applications. Standards such as ISO 1167,  ASTM D 1598 and ASTM D 1599 and equivalent.

The SIGMA HP & HCP is controlled by the SIGMA software and operation is done from the easy-to-use SIGMA interface accessed from any device, tablet, smart phone or pc. SIGMA enables easy control and provides a full overview of tests  as well as automatically ensuring that all test setting data is saved and stored, no matter what happens. The HCP & HP is controlled web-based interface, allowing you to initiate and monitor tests remotely.
